Well the first four months have whizzed by in a blur…..

Things have been really moving along very fast at Leonards. We visited the Top Drawer in January and found some lovely new suppliers. A few have been catching my eye for some time but it's always inspiring to see them up close. I have decided to try Lisbeth Dahl from Denmark. Pretty glassware, tableware, silverware and gifts, just so romantic and girly. I have just placed my first order and cannot wait to unpack the boxes of stock over the next few weeks.

The Jan Constantine china is still very popular, although we are finding it very difficult to restock. This obviously is not great for us as I always have a waiting list for these ever popular Union Jack and Heart designs. We are still sending our Green Gate stock out to Europe, I assume we are competitive with the European market as we buy this from Denmark and send it across the channel again to various countries.

I am always drawn to using individual suppliers as I love having stock that isn't mass produced. Our chalk boards and notice boards are now on very low stock and are made 'up north'.

We have some beautiful new ribbons from Jane Means, who is constantly featured in all the famous 'home' magazines.

Finally the other very exciting news is that we have been invited to advertise in a special subscribers only feature for Good Housekeeping Magazine. This is a massive step for us but also a huge opportunity to showcase our lovely stock. This will be going out in the July issue.

With the Jubilee fast approaching we also have an invitation to attend the Grimsthorpe Castle Spring Fair, lets hope the weather is kind and I look forward to meeting lots of new and old faces.
